Dave King is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Digitalis. He founded the firm in 2009 to address a crucial topic: reputational risk.
With over 20 years’ experience in internet services businesses, Dave has a deep understanding of the proactive and reactive tactics that can help safeguard an entity’s online profile. He has advised the boards of global organisations and political institutions on reputation, digital integration, and cyber risk. A well-regarded authority in IT, cyber risk and online reputation, Dave is often asked to comment by mainstream print and broadcast media.
Charlie is Managing Partner at Digitalis and has over 25 years’ experience in risk consulting, communications and journalism. He launched the company’s Digital Risk and Intelligence Practice and specialises in advising clients on online reputation strategies, crisis communications and digital security and privacy. Charlie also oversees many of our relationships with legal and communications firms.
As well as working with leading multinational corporations and private clients, Charlie is particularly focused on advising family offices on managing their digital footprints and helping them understand the reputational threats that emerge from the internet.
Before joining Digitalis, Charlie held a number of senior positions including Deputy Chief Executive at risk management firm G3.
Steven is a chartered accountant and spent the first 20 years of his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, ten of those years as a partner specialising in media, telecommunications and technology, advising boards on all aspects of assurance, risk management, acquisitions and mergers and transaction support.
During that time he worked with some of what are now the largest internet services businesses in the world at the early stages of their development.
Subsequently he worked with Stelios Haji-Iounnou as CFO for easyGroup before being recruited as Finance Director of Western & Oriental plc, an AIM listed company where turnover grew tenfold in two years.
Steven has worked with Digitalis since 2009.
Viv is a Partner at Digitalis and an online reputation adviser to UHNWIs and some of the world’s most prominent businesses. He specialises in threat mitigation, profile management and privacy.
During his career, Viv has advised CEOs and boards of FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies on corporate reputational risk, as well as managing the profiles of prominent business figures. Viv works closely with partners from leading international law firms, family offices and communications consultancies.
Prior to joining Digitalis, Viv was a Senior Director at FTI Consulting and founded Bell Pottinger’s online reputation practice, advising governments, high-net-worth individuals and royalty.
Tom is a Partner at Digitalis and leads our international operations. An experienced strategic adviser on reputation risk and resilience, Tom advises private individuals and privately-owned companies on their online reputation and digital risk management strategies.
During his 20-year career in reputation management, Tom has advised clients on a wide range of challenges including crises, M&A, pre-IPO, and matters of geopolitical significance.
Before joining Digitalis, Tom ran his own consultancy. Prior to this, he founded Bell Pottinger’s Middle East business, which he built into a market-leading consultancy over ten years.
Fred is a Partner at Digitalis with experience in strategic communications and digital risk intelligence. He advises financial services firms with a focus on special situations, including event-driven and shareholder activism.
Fred has advised governments, global banks, asset management groups and insurers, as well as capital markets infrastructure, data and analytics providers, on corporate affairs, brand positioning, strategic communications and crisis management.
Prior to joining Digitalis, Fred worked at financial service consultancies Prosek Partners and Moorgate Group, as well as in-house at Natixis.
Beatrice is a Partner at Digitalis focused on digital risk and reputation management consultancy, with broad experience working across different geographies. Beatrice advises a range of public and private individuals on digital risk and online vulnerabilities.
Prior to joining Digitalis, Beatrice worked at strategic consultancy Lansons, where her portfolio included asset managers, international banks and private equity firms.
Beatrice has been named in the Spear’s 500 Reputation Management Rising Stars, as well as the PR Week UK 30 Under 30. She is fluent in French and Italian.
James is a Director at Digitalis and Head of Digital Risk, specialising in the integration of digital intelligence with online reputation management. He supports law firms, public and private companies, and governments.
Before joining Digitalis, James spent eight years in the military, serving on multiple operations across the Middle East and North Africa.
Celine MacDougall is a Director at Digitalis, advising private clients and companies on their digital reputations while helping them mitigate risks and shape their online narratives. Her clients include companies, governments and UHNWIs, and she has extensive experience working in different geographies.
After completing a Master’s in finance at ESCP Business School, Celine held positions in investment banking in Paris and London and worked as a financial and corporate communications consultant. Celine is fluent in French and Spanish.
Sue is Digitalis’s Head of HR, overseeing the whole employment process. With over 10 years’ experience as an HR professional, Sue works closely with the senior management team, advising on all employment and personnel matters.
Prior to joining Digitalis, Sue worked in both the literary and advertising industries.
Carys is an Associate Director on the Digital Risk team, leading open-source and digital investigations for clients across the legal, government and financial sectors. She specialises in multi-lingual, cross-border investigations for international disputes. She also advises private individuals and companies on mitigating security, privacy and reputational threats originating online.
Prior to joining Digitalis, Carys worked on the corporate intelligence team for S-RM in London, conducting financial crime and compliance investigations across Europe, Russia and the CIS region.
Carys holds a Certified Forensic Investigation Practitioner (CFIP) qualification. She completed a BA in French and Russian at University College London, and an MA in International Relations at the University of Manchester.
Chloe is a digital risk and online reputation consultant to global corporations, prominent business figures and UHNWIs.
At Digitalis, she consults on a wide range of challenges including threat mitigation, crisis management, privacy and online reputation management.
She specialises in advising large global companies (including a significant portion of the FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies) on corporate reputational risk – as well as managing and protecting the profiles of key senior individuals including CEOs and board members including board chairs.
In addition to her Senior Associate Role in the Corporate team, Chloe is also Director of the Advisory Board.
Prior to moving to London, Chloe worked in commercial law in the Sydney office of Norton Rose Fulbright.
Oliver Neil-Smith is a digital risk analyst and consultant, specialising in open-source investigations and intelligence. Oliver provides litigation support, due diligence and online risk management for clients across the legal, government and commercial sectors.
With deep experience in social media analysis and online reputational risk, Oliver’s work includes uncovering the origins of co-ordinated misinformation campaigns. Before joining Digitalis, Oliver spent four years working in corporate investigations, strategic communications and digital campaign management throughout the CIS and MENA territories.
Tom is an associate in the Client Services team, helping to develop and implement digital strategies for clients to enhance and protect their online profiles from existing or future threats. Tom has worked across a variety of sectors, advising on online reputation and narrative management for clients ranging from major multinational companies to C-Suite level leadership and private individuals.
Before joining Digitalis, Tom worked in corporate communications, with a particular focus on finance, philanthropy, and sustainability. Tom holds a Joint Honours Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and History from Trinity College, Dublin.
Nour is an associate in the Client Services team and part of our Corporate Practice. She provides online reputation management and narrative building support for privately held companies and high-net-worth individuals.
Prior to joining Digitalis, Nour worked in public relations and corporate communications, covering a wide range of sectors, including finance, real estate, luxury retail, and healthcare across the Middle East and the Gulf.
April is an associate and digital risk analyst advising across legal, government, and commercial sectors. April specialises in litigation support mandates, applying her legal knowledge and experience to digital investigations and online risk management, including advising on the legal ramifications of individuals’ online activity.
With expertise in alternative social media platforms, April routinely advises on the novel digital threats they can present to privacy. April has a first-class law degree and several years’ experience working in the legal field.
Chiara is an associate in Digitalis’s Client Services team and part of our Financial Services Practice. She works with our financial clients providing support with online reputation management, as well as being an online narrative management expert. Chiara has a background in linguistics and has worked alongside the Digital Risk team on social media investigations.
Max is an associate within the Digital Risk Practice, specialising in performing MENA-focused risk and intelligence assignments for government, commercial and HNWI private clients.
A graduate in Arabic, Max spent four years working in the media, development and security sectors in Libya, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Southern Iraq. He has an advanced foundation in six major regional dialects, high level connections and an understanding of the challenges to trade with the strategically-important geopolitical zone. Before joining Digitalis, Max worked for three years at a London-based business intelligence firm.
Isabella is a digital risk and reputation consultant to UHNWIs, family offices and FTSE 100 companies, with extensive experience in working across different geographies.
At Digitalis, Isabella has spent several years advising on a wide range of challenges including threat mitigation, crisis management, online privacy, and digital investigations.
Isabella began her career in residential and commercial real estate, and holds a degree in International Business with Spanish.
Yana focuses on digital investigation projects and reputation audits, working with private clients across the consumer, government and financial sectors. She also specialises in social media management and advises clients on the best digital optimisation practices. Yana has a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism and Communications and is currently pursuing her Masters’ degree in Marketing.
Charlie is an executive in the Client Services team, focused on private clients and their online strategies. He works across the client and investigations teams, identifying and advising on potential digital risk.
Grace manages Digitalis’s in-person and digital events. She also oversees the in-house experience of our clients and guests, ensuring they are met with the highest level of hospitality.
Grace has a background and expertise in event management and hospitality, with diverse experience planning and orchestrating events. Before joining Digitalis, Grace worked at Christie’s and Caprice Holdings, where she held senior client-facing positions.
